This program addresses AI anxiety in the workforce and creates job-ready skills for AI-augmented work. Participants will learn to collaborate with AI agents effectively, turning potential displacement into opportunity.

Targeting students (high school, community college, university) and workers in transition from manufacturing, retail, and agriculture industries in Visalia and the Central Valley.

12-Week Curriculum

Weeks 1-2: AI Fundamentals

  • • Agent-human collaboration patterns
  • • Ethics and responsible AI use
  • • Hands-on: Explore agent tools

Weeks 3-4: Working With Agents

  • • Prompt engineering and agent communication
  • • Agent workflow design

  • • Hands-on: Build simple agent workflows

Weeks 5-8: Applied Projects

  • • Industry-sponsored projects (local businesses)
  • • Real-world agent integration challenges
  • • Team collaboration (humans + agents)
  • • Final project development

Weeks 9-12: Capstone & Career Preparation
